Being members of the party "Mensch Umwelt Tierschutz - Die Tierschutzpartei -"
(animal conservationist party) we candidate on the 12th state party
convention for the regional election in Lower Saxony on January 27th,
2008.
If the party should master the 5-percent-hurdle and one of us
will be elected, we already have a foot in the door and will have
something to say about nature protection, environment and hunting in
the nerve centre of power.

A hunter puts away his shotgun for good |
|

March 01st, 2007
"I have decided to write a letter to you, which you can publish,
wherever you want. If only one hunter leaves the hunter rows because of
its content or this letter convinces just one human being not to become
a hunter, my purpose is achieved. Because I'm living in a small
village, in which there are many hunters, and, in case my name would be
publicised, this would mean total isolation for my family and me, I
write anonymously.
After 12 years I have finally found
the courage, to leave the hunter community. I could recognize the
mentality of today's hunters fully during this time. I also had the
opportunity to cooperate with several hunter associations so that the
remarks cited below are valid not only for a small circle - the one in
which I was a member of - but I dare to claim that the hunter's
mentality more or less is the same everywhere.
